    Almost Gone

Thanks so much for sharing this! Not many of the "Old Timers" left. With the price of fuel, maybe they'll make a comeback. 'Course hay ain't cheap either! :???:

    Aluminum Trailers

We have a 17 year old Barrett (man, time flies!) that we like real well. It pulls real well, and is built well. I had some minor welding done on it last fall. I go over it carefully at least once a year. The welder says that the older trailers, no matter which brand, were built better with...

    Cow Size

OT, I had often wondered about the validity of pelvic measurements without taking frame size into account. I'm glad others have also given thought to this .

    Shorthorn Question

If anyone knows of any TPS Coronet Leader 21 semen, I would sure like a couple units! Our website "www.yydurhamcattle.com" has an article from the 1960's that was written by Harold Thieman (Thieman Polled Shorthorns) one of the all time great breeders. A lot of what he says is still very...

Dad ran quite a few sheep back in the '50's and 60's when I was pretty young. I can remember him turning a few Golden Eagles into a pile of feathers with his 30-06 while they were dining on a new lamb. Ravens caused us more trouble. I can remember little lambs wandering blindly in circles...

Eagle story includes dark Wyo chapter

A quote from the story, "An Interior Department official termed it “absolutely sickening” ... a sordid story” ... “a cold, callous, deliberate defiance of federal and state law,” according to another media report from 1971. By that time, bald eagles were already protected by many state and...

    Branding 5/4/07

I have a Glen Earnest made saddle that looks like the same model as what's on your bay. He looks like the kind that would make you glad you have the buck rolls! Nice pictures of nice country...hope you get some rain!

    My "other" job

If we lived closer, I would sure be in the market! Looks like a pretty slick way to insulate. Does the foam stabilize the concrete and help prevent further moisture damage? Good luck in your business!
