    hangin tree dogs

well i've always had border collies and aussies, they kinda keep an eye on the place and help pen whatever i'm needing at the time. never kept a dog that killed chickens or wouldn't stay in the yard. maybe these dogs aren't very good farm dogs

say i got a hangin tree cow dog, but i can't get a straight answer on whether you can use them like any other stock dog or not? some tell me ya gotta keep them tied up or they'll kill chickens or sheep and chase everything is that true? or is it how ya teach em?
