    Cummins engine

Change the one in the loader tractor 5.9 L every 3 years . I think you can put it in both ways but if its in the one way it may be too close to the side of the block and burn out. Also think you can get two different lengths and they could be giving you the wrong one. Around this part of the...

    bale king processor

Replaced about a dozen the first week because of a manufacturing defect(warranty of course). A couple since than in the last 5 years and I"ve also done quite a few silage bales with it. They tend to go through better in that nice -30 degree weather if you know what I mean

    bale king processor

I have a Bale King model 2000 ( bought in 2000 ) LH feed no gearbox. Its done several thousand bales replaced one orbit motor ( $800.00 bucks ). Bigger rubber on back would make it a bit more stable but the 2020 model will likely have that allready. I like my machine it performs well.

    JD 6601's

Maple Leaf Angus; Don't recall total hours for job but do remember taking back off of combine to remove augers and cutting the bearings off end of shaft ( behind Bull Gears). Pan itself is not to bad to take out after augers are out of way. Remember not to mix up the augers when taking out and...

    JD 6601's

Had a 7700 JD before the L2 those little augers where trouble free except when the shear pin falls out of the little bull gear. Watch out that the pig trough under the augers isn't wore out. Can be a bit of a job taking it out. Bout as much fun as fixing Bush Fence

    JD 6601's

    MXU CASE IH tractors

Neighbour just traded his McCormick(125hp) on a newCIH (135HP) . He had it about 2 years, nice tractor to run but had trouble keeping it cool in the summer. Even when rad was cleaned out it would run hot round baling. It was also a little hard on fuel, burned more than my 7220 magnum (150HP).

    hydraulic motor problems

I think that -30 weather is pretty hard on those motors and they usually don't get a chance to warm up before you use them. Plus the breakaway pressure on some of these newer tractors is over 3000lbs. Blew one on the bale shedder last year after a cold spell. Dealer said they sold quite a few...

    Manitoba_ R- Your bale shredder??

To bad we couldn't get those EXPERTS to open gates and cut frozen twine off the bales  Don't know about you guys but I don't see anymore hay loss with shredder than when I rolled them out with loader. Always use new patch of clean snow and next day there is nothing left but cow turds...
