    Had a really sharp line of storms move through early last evening, dumped 3 and 1/4 inches of rain in 3 hours. Washed out roads pretty bad but the worse part was the hail. It really tore up our corn, beat part of the leaves off and cut up the rest real bad. I've never had this happed before...

    Me too. I can swim enough to get by but it doesn't compare to what those fellas did. You can't read the monument but it stated that during the peak of the use of the trail over 600,000 head came up the trail per year to the railhead in Kansas. Amazing!

    Pretty good read...reinforces the fact that fertility and its associated traits like libido are the most important traits you can select for. Still, these are some of the most difficult things to evaluate and more research is needed on how to evaluate fertility and libido in bulls.

    Reclaimed stripmine land

    That stripped ground is the flattest ground we've got to work with around here...takes it a few years to get going depending on well it was reclaimed but sure turns out pretty useful...good luck with the autumn olive...give em a little taste of Crossbow...they turn a nice permanent shade of brown.
