    well I know the sandhills in SK aren't nearly them same , but we had a fella to the south of us that tried to only winter graze , there sure were alot of dries to be gathered in the spring , but they all lived .

    1 year I did some figuring , save about 180 hrs in a winter on a tractor and about 1/2 to 3/4 hrs of work a day , but some people don't mind choring all day .

    looks good per , the last few weeks sure has been some good grazing weather . looks like you got just a little more snow then us . hopefully we get all this as rain and not snow in April .

    I'm not real sure but I think it's around 120 a ton , but I could see that pelleting it would increase the cost quite a bit , it just a real pain to deal with

    them DDG's sure are a pain , but sure are a cheap supp , It's to bad they can't put it in a pellet , one fella I spoke with said it makes up 20% of his ration , pretty cheap protein.
