Where are you located? It doesn’t say on your profile. I would expect hay would be very expensive where you are if you could even find it.

We’ve had1.8 inches in the last week which nearly doubles our rainfall for the year. Too late for the hay but things are greening back up. Grazing season has life again.

I had thought we were pretty safe from being ‘that’ dry, but apparently I was wrong. Fortunately we have decent grass in the bush.

We got a hair over .5” last night bringing our rainfall since the snow left to 1.9”. The outlook isn’t good. Trying to buy hay now, it’s not easy when there isn’t much in the country.

Right around freezing temp today. Supposed to cool off for a few days. No snow on the ground, sure hoping to get some but there is nothing in the 2 week forecast other than possibly 1/2” tonight.

I’m late to this thread ‘H, but sure glad to hear everything went well and the mending is commencing. It’s good to see good things happen for good people.
