No wolves here in KY, but both of those - Echinococcus hydatid cysts and Neospora - are here, and can be (and are) transmitted by coyotes and DOGS. I'm not a fan of wolf reintroduction, but the parasites are a minimal concern, IMO. No telling how long Neospora has been here... as a...- Lucky_P
