Other happenings on our outfit of late

That's awesome. I get to be Kosmo sometime around march. My sister inlaw is expecting twins as well. I am not sure if I am happier that I get to be an uncle twice in one day or if its the fact that I am just the uncle. Twins seem like alot of work, but most people that have them just say they...

    Scary Stuff in Alberta!

Yes, it never seems to hit where it is needed the most. We are well over 4" in last 8 days here. I don't want to sound like we don't want it, because we do and I will never forget what it was like here when we didn't have any, but i would be willing to share some of it if it was possible.

    Scary Stuff in Alberta!

We are thinking of all you guys out west. Kind of makes our snow storm seem like a sunny day after seeing whats happening out where you guys are. Keep your chins up, and we hope you will all make it through this one, and come out stronger on the other side.

    Morris Magnum CP725

I can't actually remember. I will see if my old man remembers and get back to you. I think there were two shank lengths for that cultivator and that is what changed the sweep degree.

    Morris Magnum CP725

We have the same cultivator. I think it is the seal on the end of the shaft in the cylinder letting oil past it. They have a bypass in them when the wings are all the way up but it only works when the cylinder is fully extended, if i remember correctly. I think it is just a simple seal kit in...

    March 24th & 25th

And the winner is.......... BMR!!! I guess she must be ready if only one of you knew which was hers. :-) I should of started a poll. I'm not very smart either, I think I said I wasn't stupid enough to tell you which one.

    March 24th & 25th

I'd be more than willing. It could be my new off the farm job. Only problem is I would never have time to farm. I would probably have to do a million of them to make it pay. :-) :-) Thanks for the compliment though.

    March 24th & 25th

It's funny that you guys comment on the tags. I have been trying to get my wife doing them for a couple years, but she says I am to picky. I finally got her started that night. One of the tags in the picture is hers, but I am not stupid enough yet to say which one. :???:

    Spring Storm Aftermath 2 !!!

Couldn't agree more. We will have some issues with the run-off I'm sure, but fire will not be one.

    March 24th & 25th

This has been my right hand helper the last two days. My middle one who has just turned 5. She learnt the hard lesson of ranching this year. After waiting 2 years for for that pink tagged, diamond assesarized, 22Y heifer to finally have a calf, it just had to be one that didn't make it. You...

    Spring Storm Aftermath 2 !!!

That is the freight train that broke down causing the passenger train to get stranded because it couldn't get by. I haven't really heard of any fatalities ( other than a few calves ). I did talk to quite a few people that slept in their vehicles though. I almost spent the night in the tractor...

    Spring Storm Aftermath 2 !!!

These are all photos that other people from the area took. A friend of mine's kid on a drift on the road to their place. Another road by the same friends place. A friend across the river clearing his driveway. Air drill at a farm just east of town. A person from Humbolt (...

    One proud Papa!!!!!!

This should maybe be in Sports but I don't care. My 8yr old son and his team just won the league finals in hockey. It has been an awesome year. For some of you south of the border, hockey is where a bunch of neanderthals chase a frozen biscuit around on a frozen slough. :???: The team just...
