Here in Central OK, it is getting dry. No rain in the forecast to even get the fertilizer to work on winter wheat for grazing. What rains we had have come so fast they wash the fertilizer off... Seems like all the wind farms aroundchange the way our storms move.. We are saving a bunch of...

I had a red horned heifer like that last time sorting. She went to the sale. We tried to catch her twice in the Q-catch and her horns were wide enough and she was wild enough I missed her both times. 650lb and only brought $0.30.. Whoever stole her at that price deserves what they get... I...

No rain all summer and now this:

I had an old limb from the big Bois Dárc tree out front that was cut about 20 years ago after a folded disc hit it. My new neighbor took it and turned some bowls from it. I hadheard how pretty it could be, but did not expect it to look so good.

No rain all summer and now this:

Right about getting parts etc. We don't have any shops here to work on small engines. There rate is $115-$155/hr. I just wait until there is a sale and get another for $100. So far they are still running strong.

No rain all summer and now this:

I would never have imagined a foot of Bark. Never got the chance to see the big timber work up close. Here, about 2 ft is the biggest tree. I have a Bois DÁrc in the front that is over 3 ft diameter. It has been here 200 years..

No rain all summer and now this:

about 5 years ago I had some Mexican friends clear out 1/4 mile of 70 year old fence to replace. I didn't have a dozer then. Took them 5 days and kept me busy moving trees with the tractor and sharpening chains. I had one of those good little top handle Stihl saws my wife had bought me for my...

    Look out Oregon

This is why it disturbs me that Bill Gates has bought so much farmland. I wish he would start farming for real, then he wouldn't be so rich!!

Adding Sheep to a Cattle Operation

I still run Barbdoes, but it is just to let the flock I had to live out their lives. I made money on them one time in 15 years. Neighbors dogs killed 11 lambs one night. before I put them in a pen next to the house every night. Every lambing we would end up with 3 to 6 orphan lambs. Wife...

COULD HAVE BEEN A WHEELY BAD DEAL By Steve Moreland – July 17, 2021

Unless we go back to paper ballots and some real security in counting the vote, it will not matter who you vote for. A computer algorithm is not needed to count a mark on paper. It is needed if you are trying to hide something.

    Wolves

We don't have the problem of wolves down here in OK. Enough coyote/dog crosses for target practice. How do you tell the Alpha from the others? Does he wear a badge or a special collar from the Gov't??

    Wolves

.17 cal works real good. It goes all the way through and they are found somewhere else... Not humane, but neither is the work of wolves or coyotes.

Here we have the cidiots dogs. The development since the pandemic is crazy. The dogs have packed up with the coyotes. I recommend the 3S method. Shoot, Shovel, Shut UP!
