This will be a very sad year

Southern Illinois....as far as you can get from Chicago. Looking for 50-70 acres, given the prices there, that is about all I can afford...if that. Currently talking to realtors about property in Jackson and Williamson counties. I have looked for the right property for 35 years...but I was...

Yep, I'm missing a few pictures. I hope to take some more pictures, including the welder, this week. Before the week is out, I should have a picture of it. I've got a friend living on Alaskan Lane....so I've gone by what I think is your place several times. I kind of watched for someone...

This will be a very sad year

All of my family here has had many discussions on this over the recent months....everything you've said has been discussed. And yes even if we can get everything sold without getting burned, this will not only be a sad year, but a tough one. Outside of immediate family, we actually have more...

This will be a very sad year

I retired a couple of years ago, in great anticipation of what’s ahead in retirement. We intended to sell our house near Tomball, and build on my small acreage near Trinity. Over the last couple of years, the economy went bust, our daughter had a divorce, loosing my son-in-laws help, and...

    Raining in East Texas

I first heard thunder about 6am this morning, and have been watching radar. The 'red' keeps retreating, and for me, it's like this area is some dreaded bad place and the rain refuses to move it. At 6am when I first looked at radar...I said 'all right' there is no way this is going to miss us...
