This is a bull taken with a rifle permit on a limited entry unti in Utah. I was the guide and the hunter is Steve Martin from Mississippi. It's hard to beat chasing elk during the rut in mid September!

That's a beautiful animal for sure! I still haven't graduated to hunting elk... I spend my time chasing whitetails with a bow. For me to hunt elk would take money, and my wife prefers to earmark money for other things I just need to convince her that SHE wants to hunt elk, then I'm all set.
