There will be more when the official release is done this Sunday at the Detroit Auto Show. I personally like the beer cooler in the back seat, but they can keep the rest of the Barbie Girl interior.

Looks an awful lot like an F150...........ya s'pose they will drop prices even further on their in-stock Rams? Right now they have something like a 120 day supply, and they are NOT moving.........[/b]

That's what I thought a friend of mine has a F-150 that is about 5 years old that looks very simular.Of course Dodge always has been behind the times.

Ignoring that in 1994 Dodge revolutionized pickup truck design and Ford essentially copied them in 1999...

I do think it sucks that Dodge has "moderated" their designs since 1994, versus staying with unique designs. Did anyone see the PowerWagon concept from a few years ago? Had Dodge actually built that unit, they could have continued taking over market share, versus their relatively low growth of 1% per year of the past few years. I guess showing 1% growth is better than Ford's -12% though...

They need to beef up the front end. That's it. They work fine for city trucks and are economical. But when you start pulling miles through pastures with the heavy cummins diesel, the front end goes. Most all of us experienced it. I wouldn't buy another.

At the time I ordered mine, all they offered was a one ton..........no where near heavy duty enough for me, and there wasn't but about $4,000 difference between the 1 ton Dodge and the F550 Ford.

I own a 99 Dodge that is on its last legs - we use it pretty hard but it keeps on ticking.

I wonder how long the tops to those rear saddle boxes will hold up with loads resting on the rail caps? Or a bunch of us stepping on them? Look pretty flimsy to me.

Sorry, looks to me like they are headed for the soccer mom trade.

And yes they sure could beef up the front end - it is my major complaint.

Its 6 of one, half dozen of another. The front ends fall out of the Dodges, the engines let go on the Fords, and the injectors crack on the Chevies. They've all got their issues.

The front end fix on the Dodge is cheap, as Moog offers replacement front end components that'll add alot of years to the front end of a Dodge truck. I did thousands of miles of rough road/pasture pulling with Moog components and never had an issue.
