$4000 vet bill for a cat!

A gal I went to HS with posted on FB that she had to put her cat down after 15 years. It stopped responding to the insulin so the vet clinic hooked to a IV for 48 houres and it was doing better , but after a $4000 bill she couldn't handle any more.
yea I know it a pet, gee I put horses down with a bullet when the vet bill was a lot less.....

although i like my local vet clinic they do tend to like money even more than i do, and try to get as much of mine evey time i use their services.when i choose to use their service it is with the relization that every thing they do will cost 2-3 X's what it should.i will use a bullet if the outcome is doubtfull to be a success.or an injection won't cure it.
