Well we are back home from the interclub 4h show and sale and as usual it was a tiring but extremely rewarding experience. Not too many political issues to face, and lots of kids having a good time.
My kids have really come along nicely on thye grooming and feeding end, I pretty much do not have to do any babysitting.
This steer placed 3rd in class, a purebred angus, weighed 1115 and sold for 1.55/lb

We were pretty pumped when we had Reserve Grand Champion Steer in all clubs. A 1335 lb steer sold for 185$/lb. he is from one of my own bulls , and from the last commercial Simm/Angus cow I had. Sire is now working in a large commercial outfit.

Shay won the Judging and both were in showmanship finals.
