Goes forward and reverse! :D

Everything else works! :D

I'm quite proud of myself today. :cowboy: :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I think the trick to working on tractors is to have that models service manual, they get a little pricey but still cheaper than dealers service dept..........good luck

Bah, having spare parts left over simply means you've lightened the machine and improved an engineering flaw...

:D

Rod

   That's closer to the truth than most of us would like to admit.

I am, however, trying to re-engineer that flaw.

When I buy a piece of equipment if it is from a dealer I insist on a parts book as well as the service book. I do not accept only the operators book given out.

If they try to charge extra I remind them there are other dealers out there.

I have a file cabinet dedicated just to the different books for the equipment and when I'm done with service or repairs the books go back!

I'm kind of like Northern Rancher- hate steel- not much of a mechanic- and don't have much equipment anymore since I've gone "low input"--but for that I do or any I buy, usually used at an auction, I've found that with a little searching on the internet you can usually find someone thats selling a CD of the parts book and/or service manual for $5-10...

Once you get far enough behind it looks like you are ahead. Hope you didn't freeze any fingers doing the intricate stuff in the cold.

At least now I can plow snow in order to haul the rest of my hay.

If BMR and I start a shop you will know the economy is bad enough that there are no others left.
