We have been a bit busy around here, but I finally have a bit to post some pics.

That rock was actually picked right out of the ground by the baler. Left a hole over 18" deep. No rake needed. The reason we run green is the local availability of parts. Good thing.

The haybine hitch just folded. We got looking and it was never welded on the back right from the factory, but warranty is likely out of the question after 15 years. Our local Mr. Fixit said it was the haybine was the worst break he had ever seen (in 40 years of every kind of experience). That said he is very good at what he does and our revised hitch is much better than JD ever built it. He even had a pipe machined to match the pin on the haybine so everything was perfectly straight.

The north ranch has been a learning curve and I have several ideas for improvements. We kind of let it run this year to learn the ropes a bit. We have had custom cattle on it that will come off next month. Young NR has done a fantastic job and I have been pretty happy with what has transpired up there.
