This has been a wild weekend for us, so far. Yesterday, we loaded up Al's 4-H calves, and took them to the Shipping Corrals, to weigh them. Unfortunately, the scale has come off the knives (who knows how that might have happened?) so we took them to one of the neighbor's and borrowed their scales to weigh them. While the guys were getting that set up and ready to use, I snapped a few pics........
Here are a couple of their calves, waiting while their mamas finish their hay:
Wheezy and Bandita, waiting in the trailer:
Fixing the scales, where their show calves had knocked them off, too:
Wheezy's Moment of Truth-500#, only has to gain 250# more to make minimum weight in 5 months:
After we got the calves weighed (didn't get a pic of Bandita on the scale, camera was being unco-operative  She weighed 445#, no minimum for heifers.) we went down to Hubby's folk's and got some medicine for me to take, for the ear infection I have. While we were there, Papa told Al that his cow had calved about the 14th, has a bull calf again. So, we went in search of the herd, to check out his new baby.

What we woke up to this morning, ended up with a couple of inches, but it's mostly gone now:
