I second Faster Horses's thoughts........................................

LOOK AT ALL THAT GREEN!!!!! Makes me "green" with envy!!

Cattle are looking good Denny, so is that green stuff, the only green around here is the hay being hauled in and the cash to pay for it.

Denny I hate to say something but we agree on something -I just flushed three cows to Freightliner -one old Rainmaker 340 daughter and a Pioneer 701 daughter. Seen himused by lots of my customers with good results-two guys who I respect as far as cattle go almost got him bought when he sold.

I used 5 straws of him the first year and 10 this year I plan on useing some more next year if I can get some semen. The alliance calves I have are pretty plain I think other than The one posted but his mom can make a calf out of rabbit semen.I do notice he's a little weak footed just like his dad.The 2 best bull calves out there are out of my old herd bull hands down.

Weeeelll. I do like tree's and I have planted thousands of them, but fortunately for me, I live where very few of them grow. Once in awhile I'll get something in where there are trees and have to rope one, but it's usually easier to just drive them where there aren't any trees, and then rope them. Of course, than you don't hace a nice gentle tree to snub them to, so it's handy to have a horse along, about then......

Wish we was as green as you are, but I suppose some idiot would try to farm this country, then.

I wonder about the availability of Freightliner semen at least for any length of time, since he is deceased. My ai rep told me to buy all I wanted now as this would be the last. This was about 3-4 months ago. I bought 22 straws. My plans were to ai him to my Alberda Traveler daughters. I am now considering flushing one of my heifers to him. That is provided she turns out to be a good cow. Phenotypically she seems to be just what I want, plus she scanned a 6.21 Pct IMF on grass without grain. I still just haven't talked myself into spending the money for a flush, yet.
