Just thought I'd share some pics I took yesterday. Went down to SIL's to pick up some chile she'd brought up from her mom's at Las Cruces over the weekend, and took some pictures of the flood damage, and of all the good grass we grew this summer. Looking out over it where it's heading out, it looked like a silvery-blue lake! Really pretty!
Where Schoolhouse Canyon washed lots of sand into this pasture
Centerfire Creek, which is usually a mild mannered little wash, really tore up the ground during the last month
The first crossing of Centerfire...........it took out the culverts and really made a mess of things, it took 4WD to get across, because of all the sand it washed down into the roadway
Some of the gramma grass heading out
More good grass
Going on to one of the neighboring ranches (The white sign says: Caution: Killer Wolves In Area)
The road to the middle of nowhere
Mountain Mudhole (except this time it was full of water  )
A rickety old corral that's no longer used
Mountain Meadow
An old homestead
Another Mountain Meadow
Pines silhouetted against a cloudy sky
Meanwhile, back at the ranch.................
Miss Tillie, taking life easy, and waiting for her supper......
