Here are a few pictures I've taken over that past couple of weeks, and finally got them on the computer from my camera........thought I'd share with y'all!
Wheezer MacGeezer, on the scale this past Sunday........weighed in at 756#.......244# to go!
Bandi, same time, same place. She weighed 632#......no min for her to "make".
One of Al's 4-H pigs, Blackie. She's a full sibling to our county grand champion from 2005, which belonged to our neice.
Al's other 4-H pig, Reddy.
Two blue-butt pigs that Al might take for 4-H, he has until 6-1 to decide for sure which are going to be the "official" pigs. The rest will be butchered or used for breeding.
Two Hamps and another cross pig. The one in the middle is our new herd sire, for sure going to keep the gilt on the left for his harem, and maybe Al's Hamp, as well.
Al's new "bottle baby"............his mama didn't make it, and we took him on when he was about a day old. So far, so good! He did have a bout with scours this past week, but seems to be in fine shape today! We're calling him Junior at the moment, but who knows what Al will finally call him. Plans are for him to be Al's show steer next year.
Tillie, down in the pasture at the end of the valley the other day
Al gives Wheezer a work out, the goat supervises.
Blaze and her new paint colt down at Hubby's folk's place two weekends ago
Our filly, Little Peach, down at Hubby's folk's place
Al and Scooter, who will be coming to live with us for a while so Hubby can "school" him for his dad
