We were in Manitoba training bird dogs at our friends place a couple years ago (I ride western) and my horse stepped in badger hole right out of the place, pulled out of it with no problem and on we went. About 15 minutes later (going along at a good clip) another person said my cinch was hanging...I thought he meant loose - nope. Offside latigo broke in two! Never moved a bit...I love my saddle
