I hate the sound the pump makes when the diesel tank goes empty.

Then I hated even more what the supplier said.

Was just quoted a buck a litre (plus taxes) for farm diesel. (That's like +/- $3.80/US gal.)

What are farm fuel prices out there across the country?

I hate the sound of breaking chains. My 855 NH had a malfunction and broke the main chamber chain for the 5th time this summer this time the shear pin didn't shear and it ended up broke in 9 different place's new chain will be here tomorrow $2200. $500 baler just got more expensive. Just got back from the bone Doctor for Lane's appointment. Turns out we were there at the right time just a day early so back again tomorrow.

3.35 a gallon for Ruby Red farm fuel

I paid 3.72 a gallon for off road diesel yesterday. Road diesel was 3.85. I am in Georgia.

Road diesel is over $4/gal here; in the heart of the oil country...everywhere has cheaper fuel than our little town. It has it's own cartel...
