We are heading up there tomorrow. Planning to hit the Shorthorn sale, and have a look through the Shorthorn barn. I am sure we will make a quick run through the exhibits as well. So is anyone else going to be there?

Yep...and he's a beauty! When I came by HQ he was chewing his cud quite happy....had no idea his baby girl just made him proud!! :lol: :lol:

Well, we made it back safely last night. Didn't see a lot of the show as we were looking mostly at the Shorthorns. There were some darn nice animals there!! The sale, I thought, went quite well, with at least 2 lots heading south. 1 for $15,600 was a choice of 2 flush sisters(open females), and the other for $5200 was also an open female. T

he reason we went was the bulls, but all the ones we were interested in went just beyond our reach.

We also made a quick trip through the commercial barn, and saw some fairly good looking cattle in there. It will be interesting to see how those animals sell.
