I didn't read it(farming) but if attention to unwanted horses is the goal, talk about them being dumped on public or even private land will not make anyone from the city care. Somewhat like in the 30's when Washington didn't care or even belive the dust bowl until the dust cloud reached them.
If attention to the problem of unusable horses is the goal it needs to be in their back yard. About 10 semi loads dumped on Bethpage where the US Open golf tournament is being played this weekend would get some attention! 8)
