we had a local gal get called back to sing in front of the 3 judges....she did not make it, but we were all on pins and needles to see if she made it onto t.v., but she didn't.
the Atlanta episode had the gal who'd dad died 2 days prior to her audition.....she made it, and deservedly so! what a sad story.

Jigs, what did your local gal say about her experience in the audition in front of the three judges? I give anyone credit who puts themselves through that wringer even in jest.
I saw part of last week's show and found it funny, stupid, exasperating, and exciting even though much of the music was unknown to me. They talk about song writers and singers I've never heard of. The judges comments were often interesting and it was fun to see if they agreed with my assessment. What ever happened to the blond gal who they told to go learn a Dolly Parton song and come back? Did she do that? The funniest one I thought was the guy who was American but always sings with a British accent!

she said the stress and pressure were unbelievable.
wife has seen her sing solos at the school programs and sid she can get pitchy, so I am guessing the nerves were high, she was all over the place, and they turned her down.
Simon floors me, he is a complete ash and rude, then when there is some one with a sad story, he is an outright nice guy.....
