So whose photo is it? Who is rancher1?

Those were all some really great photos. Thanks everyone for entering.

Cert contacted me and she is not able to take care of the photo contest for a couple of weeks. So it is up to me...TO FIND SOMEONE TO DO IT...as I am not computer literate enough.

I contacted Jersey Lilly because she was in on this right from the start and she understands more than I do. But I haven't heard from her yet.

So, patience, please. Soon as I hear from Lilly, we will be underway or: I will put out another plea for help, or for someone to direct me in how to post the entries. I have one right now in my private message box.

Thanks everyone for your cooperation.

Lilly, WHERE ARE YOU?

There is a story behind #5. That is Montana Cowgurl, at age 4 or 5, sleeping on the mineral. I noticed she wasn't around, went calling, calling, no answer, looked in the cattle guards (I just KNEW she was in one of those, and hurt), called and called, getting panicky, called and called and looked into the mineral stash and there she was, sound asleep. Boy, that day took about 3 years off my life but I had to take a picture before she woke. I'll NEVER forget that day!!!!!!!!!!

Ohh that was during the drought it was some long hot days for those kids-he's probably 10 or 11 in that picture. I'll never forget the first day he rode with me-he was just 5 and I have a picture of him at 5'00 A'M out catching his horse-no ponies at our place. I took him in for coffee at Cowboy University after we were done-he was a pretty proud pup that morning.
