I asked for some advice on Cattle Today about a 3yo filly I have.
Fast bit of info, she is stunted in size, is with a trainer right now and has a really bad attitude.
Was told to get rid of her. Going to see if I can.

Went to see my other horse that is with a different trainer. This trainer has a 14 yo gelding that is half Quarter Horse and we are guessing Pasa Fino. Sorry if I spelled that wrong
He has been a kids horse for awhile and the only trouble they have ever had is he acts up if he gets too far away from the group. Knows he can get away with it with a kid, but not an adult.
They are asking $1000 for him.
I'm seriously considering it. Only problem, husband.

Should I go for it or not?????

My son wants him, but he has his own horse.

I bet you can find a younger, better horse, especially since people are wanting to unload them and not feed them through winter. They'll probably cost more than $1000, but would be money well spent. Good luck :-) .

Wyoming Rancher I was thinking of him as a horse for my 7yo daughter.
We have enough pasture for 4 horse's and enough hay to support them during the winter.

went and looked at that gelding today. Took a friend with me, well turns out that he would just be too much horse for my daughter. He is really a great horse.

Going to sent that filly south to the big auction barn.

Know what you mean Faster Horses. Saw the same thing at an O-Mok-See. This girl was on a really "hot" horse that her parents bought just for barrels. She went off that horse pretty quick.

I was really surprised that my daughter, who loves horses, showed a fear of this horse. She went right up to my horse that was there, but in another pen. Something about about the other one must of scared her. She was petting him the last time we looked at him.

I think she trusts my horse.
I had found her following him up the hill in the pasture one time, she was hanging onto his tail and he was walking really slow.

How's this for a good turn. My friend that went with me to look at the gelding told her friend about him, this other friend bought him.

The trainer called me last night, he may have found a "baby sitter" type of horse for my daughter. I will have to go look at her this week.
Only things I know about her is she is an Arabian, age is unknown, even the guy who owns her doesn't know. The owners 9 year old was roping off of her last year. Needs her feet trimmed and possibly her teeth floated. With her age she will need some equine senior feed.

Anything I should look for?
I was already told to make sure she has her teeth.
