Barley feeding

I was just curious about feed Barley's. There is a couple of two row varieties from Montana that our Extension agent recommended. Eslix(spelling) was one of them. How well do they grow?

I raised Gallatin one year it did really well and yielded good without much shatter from the wind.

Besides Eslick, I have heard good things about Haxby and Boulder. Other than that I don't have any experience with any of them.

I heard Coors Light was a preferred variety of liquid feed Barley in South Dakota :wink:
