My parents had a '73 Mustang, but had to sell it shortly after I was born. What a shame. I wish they still had it today, but I guess I was worth it! Thanks for the pics. They're great!

Not even the kinda mustangs I was thinkin......and no...it wasn't the horse kind either.

When I seen Sturgis....I immediately thought of the Mustang motorcycles from years past. OH what sweet lil machines they are!!!

But those kind are SWEET too. Brother had a '64 1/2 for his first car. Mom n Dad sold it.....after he decided he wanted a pickup. I SOOOOO wanted them to save that car for me.

Man my wife and I had one a few years (1999) after we got married. It was mid-night black and was fun to drive if you didn't see a cop around. But when the kids started coming it had to go. :( You just can't put three car sit in the back sit. I was really sad to drive away and leave it sitting there.

My Dad has a '65 Fastback with a 289. Black with white interior. He bought it new when he was younger. He still has it.

Hubby bought me a '65 Coupe project car. It does need quite a bit of TLC, but once we are done with it the kids will not be driving it.

sure would have liked to seen that.. my wife is a bit upset with me, as I have her porch full of the parts to restore the trunk on my 69 fastback.. I just finished taking most of the rear of the car apart this week to decide what to replace. I'll try to post pictures when the actual progress starts..

The love of mustangs runs deep in my family... My father had a red 66 convertible, I have the 69, and my son has a screaming yellow 04 with custom black strips..

we have a car show next week... usually about 1500 cars attend.. a few years back we had over 3000 and they decided it was to big so they scaled it back a bit.

Thanks for the pics Cal.. :D The red 69 fastback sure has a nice looking paint job.. :) :D

I'm glad you guys liked the pictures.....shared some memories! I  Herefords, Steve, anybody......I think it'd be neat to see some poster's project cars and hot rod pics on here.

This is what Mr. Lilly has been workin on in his spare time for the last couple months. It's a V-12 Lincoln flathead, that's new to the old T-bucket roadster. He rebuilt the motor and he done all the bending of the exhaust himself...he was rather proud of that. I told him it made it look like a biggggg spider LOL

Today was the first time he cranked it......I wasn't here to hear it, but he said it sounded "wicked" LOL

Wow, Lilly, that even looks wicked! :o Did he have trouble finding parts for it? Do you know how many horses it'll be putting out? Keep us posted.....that's awesome!
