Big Muddy- Did this rain get to you?
http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?rid=ggw&product=NTP&overlay=11101111&loop=no

Looks like some areas close to you got over an inch...Pretty much hit right on the border so far...We only got a shower, but they say that it could move back in this afternoon... The way this wind is howling it better blow in something....

One thing- if your short on hay you should be able to find quite a bit pretty close in that Wood Mountain- Rockglen area or south of you...I think they are looking OK...I know down here most have tons of old hay left from last year...I stacked a few bales to make room for this years and even ran into some 2 year old stuff I have left....

Or you and Tam can get out there and do the birthday suit dash and help out all your neighbors

We haven't gotten anything but wind. Too much of that! It blew
yesterday, is really getting after it this morning and is supposed to continue through Saturday, all out of the South East.

Someone thought there was something coming out of Mexico.

What do you know about that, OT?

BTW, I keep adding all these weather links you provide, but
I still don't know what you know about the weather. :?

was awoken outta a dead sleep at 4:30 am wednesday morning because of the wind, thunder and lightning that lit up my little bedroom!!! Then it was nice for the rest of the morning......nice, that is, til I had to take Flint to his baseball game in ThreeForks.....more thunder, more lightning and black/angry/boiling clouds had some of us ducking for cover!! rained like crazy here again this morning and is coming down again now as i sit here at the computer!! sure wish parts of colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas were getting some of this.....we get the denver channels for news and the drought conditions down in those areas are downright scary....my prayers are with all down there...prayers for rain to come your way!!

Mostly wind again to day. 15/100ths of rain is all that we had this morning and nothing since. It is cold and raw out there today. sky has lightened up some and it doesn't look to promising. Oh well they are forecasting more rain so maybe we will get lucky.

FH- That is where this front and moisture is circling out of- Mexico.....Got some good chances of thundershowers tonite- altho you have a better chance since they say it is higher chances south of the Missouri....

As hard as this wind is blowing (35-45) it should blow in something...

I may have to round up one of those old Sioux Medicine Men to come up and smoke some sweetgrass and sage with old Big Muddy to chase away those evil spirits sitting over the Big Beaver....

There is a big hi pressure system sittin on TX steering every thing around and to the North, picking moisture up outa the gulf of Mexico and steering it around TX to the northern states.
Its a typical late summer pattern TX gets into, problem is,its not late summer and we sorely need the spring rains for our growing season,TX really needs a drink of water,I see some disturbance in the tropics, hopefully it will make into the gulf of Mexico and give us some relief ?......................good luck

Sure hope ya get some rain there BMR!! Its raining enough here to stop us from seeding alfalfa. THey are talking a fair bit of rain for the next few days.

Colder than a witch's tit here all day and trying hard to drizzle. If this system is coming up from Mexico you'ld think it would be WARMER!!!
Hey.... it's MOISTURE!!! :) :) :)

FH- Didn't you get any rain? It looked like this storm stretched from Miles to into Canada-- I thought everyone in the eastern part of the state would get some....

We ended up with 1/4 of an inch- but it looks like it could start back in again anytime...At least so far no wind....
