today is my wifes birthday.... the hay is a bit too wet, so we have decided to take the day off, and go to the big city for a little R&R ( kids started school yesterday)
maybe take in the water park and afternoon movie, and a nice lunch at Olive Garden.....
to add insult to injury, as I was irrigating today, I realized that some gates were left open and the field ran through, and soaked up about 5 acres of alfalfa that I intended on baling tomorrow..... of course it is right at the entrance to the field, so that 100 acres will be totally off limits till the 5 dry up enough to travel on.... I discovered this error a little too late, and have huge ruts from the pickup to remind me of my stupidity.....
