Ty has a torn knee ligament-seems he played a second half of football after he hurt it last week. Going to miss his first hockey game in ten years on Sunday-the phsio guy says nine months to get back to full strength-hope he's off by eight months or so.

Oh man thats too bad...he really was favoring it on Sun.A couple bang-ups there also prob. didn't help, but hes in good shape from all his sports, hunting etc. so the Physio should go really smooth.

Hopefully he has a good looking 20 something nurse to help work on his knee... I know it made me more dedicated to rehab when I hurt mine when I as 15... Yes, yes, men are pigs and boys are pigglets.

OUCH!!!!

IL, if I remember correctly, Ty has a girlfriend :P.

When I dislocated my shoulde the first time (hockey game, ot the theifer) I was out for amweek and a half, and I was back.... never seen a one handed hockey player before..... i was forward. lol. he can sit in a treestand, so its not all too bad.

8) He is young-maybe 4.Wouldn't want to miss whole season

Which ligament is it? I tore my medial collateral when I was 17 as well as tearing most of the cartilage and chipping my kneecap, I was going fine in 3 months but then I was just a big old hog.
Does he need surgery? If the doc says no, ask around for a second opinion. Maybe call a university team and ask for a recommendation on a good doctor, that's what I should have done.
