I know there is still a lot of questions about BSE, I guess i will ask one I nave been thinking about. In all the studies has it been confirmed that 100% of the cattle eating MBM will contract the disease?

Thanks Robert Mac !

Robert Mac I know you raise Beefmasters down there in Mississippi, you ever hear of a man up here (TN) who raised some pretty good ones by the name of Stonecipher (sp)? He has since sold his cattle business and retired, I believe. The first sale of his I went to, there were trucks from Texas, Oklahoma, and a lot of other western states as I recall. The first heifer that came in the ring brought $24,000, well I did enjoy the meal at his place that day. lol

Cottage Farms...they certainly sold some expensive cattle. If that was the dispersal sale, I was there...before I learned better! :? I raise my Beefmasters under 'real world commercial' conditions (actually tougher) and all of their genetics have culled themselves out of my herd. Lasater Beefmaster genetics ( Lasater Foundation herd, L-Bar, and Casey) are what dominate now...real Beefmasters.
