Bull sale in the sticks

WOW! We attended a bull sale here in Utah Today. 190 head of bulls that included 100 Simmentals, 55 Black Angus and 35 Maine Anjous all from one producer. The Simms 1st section averaged $5005 on 52 head. The angus bulls 1st section averaged $4909 on 22 head and the only section of Maines averaged $3575. The 2nd section of Simms went $3694 and the 2nd bunch of Angus brought $3771 averaged. I managed to keep my hand down and didnt buy anything. A nice uniform bunch of bulls who were bringing in the bids. Bulls went to TX, WA, CA, NV, WY, ID and Iowa as well as a bunch that scattered across Utah. Congrats to Yardley Cattle Company for a successful sale!
