I have a much smaller operation than what you probably want to hear from but for the record here is my program.

I AI the best cows for pruebreed calves ( Charolis) then turn them in with the rest of the herd ( 32 animals this year) and breed to Angus bulls.  I keep a yearling bull with a two year old then sell the two year old nd get another yearling the next breeding season.

I work with  two different pruebreed operations and both like to sell two year old bulls to the smaller operations that only need one bull and are reluctant to sell yearling bulls unless they will be working with a buddy.
