We attended a mineral dinner presentation by Cargill touting their mineral that prevents scours and enterotoxemia(overeating disease) in baby calves. It is fed 14 days before calving and until calves are 45 days old. BioMOS is a mannose sugar that the gram negative bacteria (e.coli and clostridium) bind with and are passed out with the feces without causing disease.  It is $1047 a Ton and the calves must eat it also.  Has anyone out there used this mineral and did it work as advertised?  Dying to know!
