Was down with the flu today. Man I feel tough. Tonight the Movie Breakheart Pass was on. It was a Charles Bronson movie and I wasn't really paying attention but was watching the credits roll and right near the end was "Jackson--- Casey Tibbs."

I have been a fan for a long time and it is even more special since I have got to know some of you that are related or knew him.

Sorry you aren't feeling up to parr, BMR.

I saw that show you mentioned several years ago at the theater. I sure didn't know Casey Tibbs played in it. Learn something new all the time.

I didn't like the movie, tho. I thought it was boring because, as I recall, the whole thing took place all in just one day on a train. Am I correct?

Hope ya get feeling better BMR. Right now we are watching the amityville Horror and its damn near scareing the socks off of me...... :frowns: :help:

BMR,you better rest and get feeling better,if my memory serves me right I believe you have an important day ahead of you next weekend!!! :D

We went out to eat last night, (early mother's day) and then stopped off at Block Buster for a few movie rentals.....Lil Lilly wanted to rent "Dreamer" with Kurt Russell and Kris Kristopherson, and a lil girl I don't know her name. About a race horse. Even tho Kurt Russell aint one of my favorite actors, I do hafta say that it was one good movie. Well worth renting for a family night of movie watching. For those of you with kids I'd recommend "Dreamer"
I rented, "Walk the line" haven't got it watched yet tho.

Hope you get to feelin better soon BMR

I believe the little girl's name is Dakota Fanning. She's been in a few movies, quite the talented little actress.

Glad you replied, Those are greaqt memories to have. We have a Texas Tibbs that post here is a great nephew I think and others that know the family.

Casey was in a lot of movies back in the 60's and 70's. He never really had any big roles, but just little spots here and there where he played little roles....and usually he played "himself". He was a stunt man in several western movies.

This link shows the movies he appeared in or helped with.

Thanks for the link. I had forgot about Tomboy and the Champ. My kids watched that movie so much they break out in song at just the mention of it. Probably will be singing it at the oldests wedding this weekend. That one and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Great baby sitters those were.

I don't think that Kurt Russell was a child actor for Disney. I do remember him on "The Travels of Jamie McPheters", a tv show after Wagon Train. Wagon Train is the first series I ever saw him in.

I try to see all his movies. I didn't think I would like Chinatown or the show that was filmed about Chinatown, but I like almost all the others.
I think he has the kindest face...

Oh yeah Kurt Russell was in tons of Disney movies.....the ones that came on Sunday evening on Television. We usta watch em all......oh great now I can't remember right off hand any names of the movies...but there were lots n lots.
