Sometime when a "Sellout" is reported the seats aren't full because some corporation has bought a block of seats but doesn't have bodies to fill them. :?

Yep oldest trick in the book. Sell them at a discount just to move the tickets.

Mike....in Lincoln, that's utter bullish!t. Kennedy was President the last time there wasn't a sell out at Memorial Stadium.

Any haters care to explain the nation leading 300+ Academic All-Americans....or is the "fix" in on that, too?

I didn't say a word about Lincoln or Nebraska. I was agreeing with Big Muddy that it does happen. And it does.

I dont know which seats for sure you are refering to but I am guessing them are the club seats, where you have to buy the box and you have seats in side and out.

Those are probably the seats I saw. I to liked to watch Nebraska in the early 90's, A bunch of homegrown kids beating the crap out of everyone. I think the coaching is a huge problem there. Take the Wyoming game for example. Ya Nebraska won, but was close game and they gave up a million yards. Not to take anything away from Wyoming, but Nebraska recruits and has far better talent on their team. So why did they struggle to beat Wyoming? I think its the coaching. I don't see this going on much longer, you can't consistently not be able to slow anybody down and still have a job. They didn't name them the blackshirts for giving up 500 plus yards a game did they?

I wish they would throw the blackshirt idea away. Kinda disrespectful to the actual Blackshirts of the 90's. I really would hate to clean house and have to start over but it isnt looking good. They need to get somebody back in the program that knows how it should be, somebody to get some heart back in the program.

Have any of you every been to Lincoln to a game? Sign me up for them "empty seats" I could use another set of season tickets. You cant get a season ticket. How many of you would pay a "donation" of around $500 to get on a waiting list? The more you pay the more you move up. How many would pay a "donation" of 500 to 1500 along with your season ticket price?

Ya Nebraska is in a slump. Oh ya, we lost to a 16 rated team and we were 23rd. Hell Jigs according to you Kansas State is the best thing since sliced bread, why was there empty seats last week? Nobody care? or what? And weak sauce? Kinda like the pot calling the kettle black.

Ranking don't mean anything. The bookmakers had "N" as the favorite

I just don't think Pelini is all that intelligent. If you look at the antics and quotes, he is no Uncle Tom. He hasn't impressed me at all.

Nebraska used to be a name that brought fear to teams with no loss records. Now they are just another game. I don't think Pelini is the answer.

I caught a small part of the Pelini show on tv last night...he sounded hum drum about the loss, said the kids had no fire, no desire.... in the locker room or on the side lines, they were flat..... excuse me, but isn't a coach supposed to be able to get his team up for the challenge??? this loss was all on the coach in my opinion... I don't think he will be around next year if things continue like this
