About 8:00 PM last night, I was checking the news on the computer when the phone rang. It was my son on his cell phone.
He asked me if I knew anything about gasoline engines that still had maual chokes!! Seems like they were in an old boat on a river in Minnesota when the engine quit. They thought the engine had flooded out, but the flood routine didn't work.
After about 5 minutes of remote checking, we found it wasn't getting any gas and located a manual fuel pump. A few strokes of the pump and the engine lit up.
It was getting dark so my last advice was get the boat to shore. Since I didn't hear from them again, guess it all came out right. We must be 1200 miles away. They think I am pretty smart sometimes. Obviously, they are not teenagers anymore.
