Cats drag away their prey... Often try to cover it or hang it in a tree to keep it out of site of scavengers... It is not something I worry a great deal about but that is pretty easy for me to say since they are in no real numbers around here.. But I don't worry about yotes and I don't worry about foxes... Two legged fiends are far more likely to be a problem around here and dogs that someone dropped off in the country so it could run free... I am pretty sure in my lifetime wolves and cougars will be here in more significant numbers than they are now... I am even more sure that the two legged ones will still be a bigger problem.
