This shows how out of touch people on concrete are with people on dirt. Every aspect of this commercial seems like satire. I would be ashamed if I were chevrolet.

Took a lot of money to make that commercial and now Chevrolet may be the laughing stock of the farm/ranch community. Reminds me of the saying, "never have time to do it right, but always have time to do it over."

This was something I had no idea happened, though:
"Dodge Ram's now-iconic commercial not only declared 2013 the "year of the farmer;" it also pledged to donate to the National FFA Organization for every view for its advertisement. It took less than a week to reach 10 million views, earning the FFA a $1 million donation."

   :tiphat:

Saw this the other day & promptly forgot about it. Most every commercial depicting farmers, ranchers, or cowboys have the most stupid looking and stupidly dressed actors in them.

I'll give Dodge a hat tip for some of the best pickup commercials out there. With all our money that Dear Leader gave GM.....this is the best they can do? They deserve to go belly up. Just one more reason to go with the Blue Oval. Now I have a year or so to find a nice F150 for the boy. He'll be gone soon enough.

I'm not sure. The boy imagines a 2004. I haven't looked into it that close yet. You remember how it goes...champagne taste on a beer budget. With 2 in college already, the closest I can get to beer is yeast n stuff.

A baby Holstein calf wandering miles away, down the road ,from his long horn momma, during a rain storm? A diesel tank in the middle of the range? The man is wearing an indiana jones hat carrying a flashlight looking in the mountains in the timber using his new truck with GPS to find him under the train bridge seems a wee bit odd to anyone that would buy a truck to use. It's a very stupid ad in my humble opinion.

I agree. Chevy truck buyers aren't normal. What would be the message the ad is trying to convey? Chevys are tough enough to be out in rain and muddy water? So are mustang convertibles.

Austin Minis are tougher yet.

Come on at least give them some credit a Holstein is the on type of cow that is dumb enough to lay on a bridge in the rain and freeze to death :D
