good luck

The tracks really make a differnce, worth every penny they cost,as you probably know a skidsteer is very handy tool to have on a ranch, add tracks and you have a pretty good little machine
good luck

Do you have a tree shear and grapple, you can make good time like that, last time this pasture was cut was 15 years ago, took me and three meskins about a month.
Me and this skidsteer will probably get it done in 3 weeks.............good luck

i have a tooth bucket(for big trees) and a root rake/grapple. the grapple has paid for itself. leaves all the top soil and makes the pile burn better since there is very little dirt.

That there says a whole lot about you.

Yes it does, and a little about you also, what it sez about me loud and clear is ........I can buy good tools and get more done than I can working some of these lazy meskins, had a few good ones, but the ones I had helping me cut brush, was'nt worth the spit on a postage stamp, always looking for someone to give them something..............good luck

Lookin good HayMaker, are ya makin fence posts outta them cedars? We don't have many cedars here.

Looks like you and me been basically doin the same thang only usin different methods. LOL I've started on a lil 60 acre or so pasture that's been left to the undergrowth and wild hogs for the last 10 years. Started on that this mornin, man it's some nasty noises comin from that shredder. I just duck my head and keep goin LOL Runnin over stuff up to about 3 inches, I ain't quite brave (or stupid)??? enuff to run over anything bigger'n that. LOL I'll leave those for the bull dozer to come in and push em up.
Just came in to grab a bite to eat and fill up the water barrel to haul water to the bulls. Then I"ll be back at it again.

PS becareful out there working by yourself, hope you have a cell phone with you.

Oh yeah, cell phone stays in my pocket at all times when I'm doin that kinda stuff. (not that I could hear it ring if it did) but least I got it handy if I need to call for help. Most times it's hollerin at Mr Lilly to either bring me more diesel, or come fix a drive shaft when they come loose. But I'm gettin perdy handy at fixin those myself now LOL

that cell phone could very well be your life line, believe it or not we got cell service here now,I told the phone co. they could put a tower on my place free, they come out and felt like it would not be the best location,so I asked him what would be ideal, after listening to him,I called a neighbor down the road and dang if they did'nt strike a deal.
good luck
PS make alota hay this year ?

Lots better than last year, that's for sure, but was held back cuz of all the wet weather like you were. Coulda had one more cuttin than we have now, but it's almost time to cut again. So things are lookin real good.

We got new phones not too long ago. Switched from Sprint (no service whatsoever) to AT&T and have signal everywhere, plus it's cheaper by far. I don't think there's been anywhere I've went since I got it that it wouldn't work. And that's sayin alot with the woods as thick around here as they are.

Sure is handy now that Lil Lilly is drivin. She calls tells me she's got to school fine, and calls when she leaves to go feed, and then come home. BEWARE she's on the loose in a big green double cab dually. LOL
