So in my church we are doing this thing called "Advent Conspiracy" Basically, we are going to giving to others instead of ourselfs. For example, when family members ask you what you want for Christmas, instead of thinking of something you dont need, tell them you want to donate money to Compassion International! They use that money to feed children who rearely get to eat, in other countries. Now this is what got my attention- Americans spend on average $450 billion a year on Christmas shopping! Thats a lot right? Well.... it only takes $10 billion to supply clean water to THE WHOLE WORLD! That doesnt even come close to how much we spend on pointless gifts that we dont need! If that dont get your attention, i dont know what will. WE are all so proud of bein ranchers, cowboys and cowgirls here on Ranchers.net, and yall all know that as southern people we are supossed to kind and respectful, so show that you are! And help others in the world! Merry Christmas!

I sent in a donation to the Methodist Children's Home in Waco in honor of a recently resurected old friendship... I felt good about just makeing the donation and then today I got a text message that was worth a lot more than what I sent.
