very cold but i had just loaded 8 head of 4 year old long tailed bulls so i was a happy fella

Is that the Raton Pass between Colorado and New Mexico-heck I've even been over it-looked like good elk country to me.

weve been having weather here that looks just like that latly
but we are just about as far noth west of lilly as you can get in texas
those pic's are from raton pass between trinidad co and raton nm aon the co side
that is great elk hunting country but expensive the last i heard the place in the pic's was getting 17.5k for a trohfy in the rut and 12.5k after the rut was over ofcourse that's lodeing and fully guided
lots of foiriners hunt there as that ranch is owned now by a woman from france

I don't remember anything about that country up there, we lived in that corner of the state for 2 1/2 years after I was born, moved back down in this part of the country when my sister was 2 weeks old. Great pics, but it looks really, really cold!!!!!!!! Maybe I blocked that part of my memory out, huh? :lol:
