Concho Mommas!!!

Yep, around July 31st - August 3rd, Concho is going to have a batch of pups!! The father is a cute cute little registered Corgi just like her...he had the same color markings except a bit more white. One of the cutest males I have seen in a Corgi.....He was the same size as Concho and didn't have the typical male image with the wide head and nose.

Concho's father was a tri, and the male I bred her two's mother was a tri, so I'm hoping to get some tri pups.

She is four weeks along, so with carefull palpation I can feel atleast 3 pups in her, but I'm almost certain there is more I just don't want to be mashing on her little tummy. A couple of days before she is due I am going to go take her for an x-ray so I know exactly how many there are so when she gives birth I am prepared to know how many there should be and can watch for any complications.

I'm looking forward to them.....

Aw, poor Concho............I know that's how Al's sow, Rosie, felt a couple of weeks ago.........now she has 3 little boy piggies that are fat and healthy and he belly isn't dragging the ground anymore........

Hope Concho has an easy time of it, and doesn't have too many babies to have to keep track of......

I'm even getting excited about this event,we don't have much for Corgis in this area...never seen a corgi puppy before.
