Yes I have a new horse, well she is 20 yrs old but seems to be going on 10. But she has been sitting more than ridden in the last year before I got her. How much should I ride her to start out at, Im in Florida and its very hot.

She seems to swet alot, and I dont want to over do her, what do you suggest.

I'm in Ga ( 103 today & 80% humidity)...leave her alone in this extreme heat...you'll kill her if she's that old and fat and not been worked! No kidding.

If you do ANYTHING...do it early in the AM...I mean like 6AM or late in the PM...like about 8-9PM. And do very little at that.

She's sat this long...a few more weeks won't hurt till the weather breaks a bit.
