CONGRATULATIONS CANADA

Thanks Ben. Not sure if Independence day means a the same to me as it does to other Canucks. I Love the fact that I live in a free nation and use that freedom to live in an unabashed way on my own little piece of paradise. Could say the same if I lived in the good Old USA mind you. Cograds to all of us for living in these free countries where we have the time to focus our attentions on more than trying to keep our bellies from hurtin. Our battles with the so called enemy who is "making more", or "gettin some of ours" seem petty when you think about most of the rest of the world.

Looking forward to many more years of freedom ------ Randy

Wise words. Thank you, Randy. Happy Independence Days to folks on both sides of the border. :-)

Thanks for the good wishes and all the best as you head into what hopefully is a safe and healthy 4th of July.

We do live in countries which enjoy tremendous freedoms, One big difference though is that Canada does not have independence as we are still "ruled" by the English Monarchy.

Canada Day celebrates the events that occurred on July 1, 1867, when the British North America Act created the Canadian federal government which is still under the control of the Queen of England. Although it doesn't lessen the pride in our country for most of us maybe someday Canadians will actually gain independance.

Bill Bill Bill.... lighten up!  It's all on paper. We've come a long way since we were kids. I remember when we didn't even have our own flag. (boy, that made me feel old.... )

We live in a pretty unique country. It's a work in progress. The way we've evolved has become part of our national identity. Our history has made us who we are, and I'm proud to be a Canadian. eh.....

And to our American friends, have a beer for us while you're taking in the fireworks and sizzling those steaks!   Happy Independence Day to all. :D :D :D
