Had to go down to Billings for the annual Corgies Gone Wild picnic yesterday. Was a really nice day to be in the park playing with 50 Corgies of all ages, sizes and weights. Even got to meet another of the Ranchers.net family, her son and her Corgie. What a deal.
As usual, socker if a favorite pastime for the pups
And taking a cooliing dip in the pool
Another highlight was the bobbing for weiners, the dog that got all five pieces of weiner off of the bottom of the pool in the fastest time wins, the winner did it in 13 seconds, what a pig
And of course, the corgie race, Joey turned around and went the wrong direction
And in honor of flag day, the puppies had to pose
Four hours of non stop running, chasing, sniffing, and eating treats makes for some very pooped pups
It still amazes me how that many dogs can go for that long with very few snarls and growls and play as hard as they do, usually if tempers flair it is a non Corgie dog and it is at the end of the day, just like a bunch of kids when they get worn out they get crabby. It is a hoot when you throw a ball and twenty short legged dogs all go after it
