First year I've hired this job done.

They chopped 95 acres in about 11 hours in three locations.

Pretty awesome machine made some quality forage. ran at 10 ton to the acre plus alot of grass in the fields this year due to all the summer rains. Oh well the fields are fenced so the grass will get consumed.

Spearhead heifers on regrowth hayfields.

Same bunch grass is gone here now so were moving them today.

What are the two augers in the front of the truck about? Those big choppers like that have some serious power. I think there neat just to listen to while there going.

Does that thing unload from the front then and spit it out the side. People around here use end dumps. Most have gone away from tandems and use semi's with a 30 to 35 foot or so trailer. Some have a 40 foot trailer that has a chain floor in it with hydrolic tail gate.

That will make some nice winter feed. :D

Sometimes it just makes sense to hire some jobs done.

Did they have more then one truck hauling?

They had 3 trucks hauling. I felt pretty odd I did'nt do anything but ride with and take pictures.

That truck would unload on either end if they were filling ag bags it had a front side discharge. I rode along in the first field pretty awesome machine.
