Here's what our bad little EXT cows get bred too-those black #$%^& are ten times worse to handle than our Brahma cross buckers-got a Gelbvieh cross cow that got promoted to the 'sin' pasture this year too lol.

Question along this line NR, are rough stock cows and bulls naturally hateful or just when you put a rope on their flank?

I think they just have alot more instinct for self preservation-they are alot more intelligent to handle than regular beef cows-my kids move our buckers around alot with no troubles but if they feel trapped or threatened it can get game on pretty quick-it's up to you as their handler to avoid those situations. EXT's on the other hand are North America's worst wildlife problem I wish that toady little $%^&&** would of froze his nuts in a Montana blizzard as a yearling.

Thanks Northern, everyone in the store is just shakin' their heads tryin' to understand why I'm laughin' so hard at a chat room about cows. If only I could take them all into a pen with some EXT's in calving season. They'd probably want to turn it into hunting season right quick.

BTW, I don't suppose you're lookin' for anymore roughstock candidates? I've got two who match your description quite well. They've both got a real deep-down desire for learning, and they get better and better every year at catchin' a body just far enough from the fence that they get there just in time to help ya over. :lol: One's called Spookum, and the other's called Psycho.
